Good morning, good afternoon or good night to all of you guys. Today I am going to start writing what I’ve have done so far for CAS.
On November first I had painting lesson. I worked on canvas and used acrylics to paint it. My first session lasted two hours and I was so excited because it was my first time learning how to use acrylic paints. In the past I have tried using acrylic paintings on my own but didn't really know much about it. How to use and the techniques... Well I will be posting my painting here but remember, this is my first time learning and taking lesson about it. I'm learning and having fun at the same time.
Fun fact about me I do my best to recycle. When it comes to my sisters old canvas I paint them all white to repaint. Sustainability is a topic that I’m sensitive about. Thats an another days topic though. I want to open a painting exhibition and my theme is nature. In this exhibiton all canvases are reused. I wanted to make a difference. I will be posting about these paintings a lot. Like a lot... :P I hope you guys will love the results. I'll be sharing my journey (a colorful one;P ) with you all. Every friday I will post about my painting that I’ve done that day. This week I will try to post as much as I can. (I am a bit behind the calender ooops)
This painting took 4 hours to make. At first, my strokes were weak, and I painted with fear. I was nervous and scared of making mistakes. But I’d had enough! I decided to trust myself. I started putting the colors where they felt right to me—with brave paint strokes :P. My teacher used to tell me (no need to be dramatic; she still tells me the same thing ehe ehe :D), “Sevde, trust and believe in yourself. You can always fix your mistakes with more paint.” And… she was right. I believed in myself, and now I’m proud of the final product. This is the first piece for my art exhibition!!!
